Fidelity ECA Dashboard & Styleguide
Role: Senior Designer
I was brought in as a freelancer at Sapient to work on a unique product pitch for a division of Fidelity. The task was, originally just to update the GUI on a number of applications and create a style guide for their developers to reuse. In the end, it ended up being a full project that involved taking a complex and overcrowded employee portal, filled with tons of applications and radically overhauling it. I was a part of a 4 person team including a UX designer, a Front-End Developer, under the supervision of a creative director.
The new approach was to take all of the applications, redesign the look of them, and then place them up-front in a dashboard, to make it really easy for employees to access the needed applications, while rebuilding the navigation so nothing had to be removed, but it also made it easier to directly link to items.
